Why I Built Arise AI
I've committed the last decade of my life to understanding what it actually takes to live a healthy life full of wellness, meaning, and fulfillment.
It started out of necessity. In my late teens and early twenties, I was stuck in a cycle of destructive, unhealthy habits — poor nutrition, a lack of exercise, drinking too much, and wasting time on things that weren't moving my life forward. I felt miserable, unfocused, and genuinely unfulfilled. I knew I needed a big change, but with very little guidance around me or growing up, I had no clue where to start. But I knew I had to find the answers to the question of what it meant to live a happy and healthy life.
I became completely obsessed with the mechanics of self-transformation. I spent hundreds of hours studying habit formation, health and wellness principles, meditation, and reading books on goal setting and success. I began implementing what I was learning little bit by little bit. I started exercising consistently, eating clean, meditating, and spending more time in nature. Day by day, my mind and body — and life — completely transformed.
That personal breakthrough changed everything for me. It sparked a lifelong passion for health and wellness, and a deep desire to help others experience the same profound transformation and results.
Driven by this new purpose, I entered the healthcare field as a Registered Massage Therapist. Over an 8 year career running my own private practice in the Sherwood Park and Edmonton area, I was fortunate enough to treat thousands of patients and witness them make their own health and wellness transformations.
